Ängen is an old log cabin which was brought back to life anew in 2020.
It has been fitted with a newly built bathroom, running hot and cold water and electricity. An attempt was made to preserve the old and adapt the new.
The cottage offers sufficient space for two people. In the living area there is a sofa bed (sleeping surface 140 x 200 cm), 2 armchairs and a small, fold-out table.
If needed, a second small cottage, called Enebacken, can be used additionally. This is located approximately 30 m away from Ängen and offers two more people the opportunity to sleep there. A sofa bed (140 x 200 cm sleeping surface), built-in cupboards and a secretary desk are available here. A dry toilet, which is located between the two cottages, can be used as desired. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities in Ängen are available for use.
A breakthrough has been created to the kitchen in Ängen, which has resulted in a comfortable counter. There you can enjoy pleasant meals and communication whilst cooking.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary crockery and kitchen utensils. A fridge-freezer combination, toaster, coffee grinder, kettle, and as desired an electric cooker with two hobs and a small oven are located in the kitchen and the adjoining storage area.

The heart of the kitchen is an old, refurbished wood-burning stove. You can cook and bake to your heart's content there.
The bathroom is spacious and individually designed and equipped with a toilet, sink and shower.
Hot water and heating are provided by electricity. Alternatively, you can heat and cook with wood. Electricity and wood are charged additionally. (1 kWh = 2.5 SEK). Firewood is available free of charge, one crate; each additional crate costs 80 SEK.

In 2023, a spacious veranda and a small workshop were added. This makes Ängen a small jewel at the forest's edge, if you appreciate the charm of the simple and rustic.

The charming old cottage is characterised by its two-storey veranda.
It offers sufficient space for two people and, if needed, four people can also feel comfortable.

It is located approximately 12 km from Kopparberg, where you will find shopping facilities, a health centre, a pharmacy, restaurants, a library, several second-hand shops and much more...
The wooden house has a floor area of approximately 52 m². It is a 1½-storey house with verandas upstairs and downstairs.
On the ground floor there is an entrance area in the form of a small hallway and a storage room, the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room.
The kitchen is equipped with a modern electric cooker, a fridge-freezer combination, cupboards, a stainless steel sink and a wood-burning stove.

The bathroom has a bathtub with shower facilities, a toilet and a washbasin. Hot water and heating are powered by electricity. Electricity consumed is charged additionally at 2.5 SEK/0.23 € per kWh. Therefore, you are asked to have SEK or euros in cash available at the end of your stay. Firewood is available free of charge – one box; each additional box costs 80 SEK.

In the living room there is a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm sleeping area), a dining table with four chairs and an armchair.
On the upper floor there is a small hallway, from which there is access to the veranda and the bedroom.

The area around the house is exclusively available to you as guests and there is parking available close to the house.
