The house is originally from the turn of the century, was dismantled and transported across the lake and erected on the island in 1937-39. Many original details preserved.

Unique accommodation close to nature on its own island in a lake approx. 25 km from Gothenburg. Proximity to Landvetter airport. Miles of forests around to hike in. In the lake there are plenty of fish, perch and pike. Fishing rights are included in the rent. The lake is visited by great loons, herons and ospreys. In the bay reed rushes and water lilies. Secluded and almost no neighbors. Total silence except for noise when planes come to and from Landvetter. However, it's nothing that bothered anyone who was there.
From the country road, it is about 4.5 km on a forest road. Locked boom. The key to the boom is obtained from the host in advance. From the car park, it is about 400 meters down to the lake and the island on foot along a nice path. Three wheelbarrows to transport goods.

The cabin has a new large glassed-in veranda of approx. 25 sqm with many windows + large panoramic window facing the lake. Many people can fit here. Shower and washing facilities are available with hot water in the wood-burning sauna, which is equipped with a hot water unit. The sauna is located right by the water and has room for up to 8 people. Smaller bedroom with single bed and view of the lake. Living room with sofa bed and armchairs + fireplace. Upstairs with double bed and single bed. Kitchen with wood stove, workbench and gas stove.
