Description
Very charming, small holiday apartment in a partially renovated Swedish house in the heart of Småland. Apartment Tillström is only 200m from one of the three lakes in the village. The small town of Fågelfors with 424 inhabitants belongs to the municipality of Högsby in the southern Swedish province of Kalmar Län.
The apartment has about 60 square meters in the middle of the small village Fågelfors. The apartment was renovated in 2018, whereby the old charm of the house should be preserved as far as possible. So the old wooden floorboards were uncovered and refurbished. Care was taken in the furnishings to ensure that they were original pieces of furniture as far as feasible. The apartment has a separate entrance.
The house was carefully renovated in 2013 completely & furnished with a certain charm, taking care that this beautiful old Sweden villa was not renovated. The slight patina was tried to be preserved.
If the weather is not nice, you can make yourself comfortable under the veranda, which is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. The large garden is at your own disposal. If your pets are on vacation too, the garden guarantees a nice run. Three car parking spaces on the property offer short distances after shopping. On request, bicycles can be rented on site.
Not far (approx. 500 m) from the apartment there is a swimming lake (diving tower and non-swimmer area) with a barbecue area, changing rooms and two other natural lakes with various fishing and canoeing opportunities.
The next largest city (1,881 inhabitants) is called Högsby and is approx. 15 km away. There are many small charming shops on Storgatan as well as banks, doctors, tourist offices,
